For a quart-sized jar, start with 1 1/2 table spoons seeds inside the jar and soak them overnight for 8-10 hours with warm water, not hot. 2. Pour off the soak water. Place drained jar stand at cupboard allow any extra water to drain out and not exposed to direct sunlight. 3. Cover the jar with the sprout jar lids and a dishtowel and leave for 3 to 4 hours. 4. Rinse sprouts with cool, fresh water 2 or 3 times each day until they are ready to eat or refrigerate. 5:Repeat, drain the water through the sprouting lids at least twice a day.
