CSC-USB Board of Real-time Control Galvanometer Scan Head for Laser

Description

Century Sunny’s CSC-USB control board is designed for real time control of scanner and laser,
which is operated together with a PC with USB2.0 port.
CSC-USB is based on large-scale field programmable logic arrays(FPGA) providing
comprehensive real-time control for various applications of laser scanning, such as real-time
control of scanners, lasers, I/O, encoders, step motors, etc. The detailed functions are as bellow:
- USB2.0 interface, high-speed mode with 25Mbps of transfer speed.
- Power on reset ( disabling laser and zero galvanometer).
- Support updating firmware program through USB interface. When updating functions of the
control board, users can only update firmware    program, no need to send the controller back to
Century Sunny.
- 16-Bit positioning resolution with 10 us output period.
- 3D gavlo axis (x,y,z), can work in 2D mode (x,y) as well.
- Enabling marking-on-the-fly with real time calibration upon receiving feedback from encoder.
- Workable with different lasers ( Nd : YAG, CO2, Fiber laser (IPG, SPI) etc.).
- Supporting first-pulse kill with CO2 laser.
- Supporting polygon kill.
- Variable polygon delay as change of angle.
- Marking bitmap in Quasi-vector.
- Dynamic focus function of compensating laser power point by point.
- One 8-bit digital signal output with latching.
- Two 10-bit A/D output for controlling lamp current.
- One 16-bit A/D input for external loop signal feedback system and balance laser power and automatic focus.
- Supporting four axis stepping motors X, Y, Z and R(X and Y are linkage under CSMark) with limit switch and zero switch assembled on each.
- Applicable to start and stop marking by external control.
- Supporting XY2-100 standard protocol.
- Supporting function of monitoring status from scanner and laser.
- Supporting multi-cards working together with one PC control.
- High accurate distortion correcting function.
- 8-channel input signal, 4-channel output signal.
- Software supported CSMark from
Century Sunny and BeamConstruct from Halaser (OpenAPC Project
).
