These are exclusively original goods from the
Champagne
, made of massive french oak.
Riddling racks like these stood decades in the cellars of various and partly of the biggest champagne houses (as for example Moet and Chandon, Pommery, Veuve Cliquot) all around Reims and Epernay in the Marne Valley, the heart of the Champagne. They distinguish themselves by their robustness and are almost indestructible. Therefore, also particularly well suitably in gastronomy areas.
The Manufacturer
The company "Leban" is one of the oldest manufacturer of riddling racks which still delivers to the biggest champagne houses. Meanwhile Leban is worldwide the one and only producer of original riddling racks.
The Use
Just lean the rack against a wall and fill it with your wine or champagne bottles. Usually its not necessary to use a holder to fix the rack, but with a retainer/holder its
more safe - special on slippy floors. You can also "hang" the rack vertically to a wall. I offer holder for both kinds of mountation (12.90 USD and 18.90 USD).
The massive oak wood is a graceful and unique decoration in every wine cellar and every living room.
A riddling rack cares for earthy pleasant atmosphere. It fits in every living room, also thanks to different sizes which you find in my Shop!

The Tint
These riddling racks are untreated (Nature). The wood of the untreated racks shows a warm and not too bright color.
This very special tint which you see on the photos is the result of some weeks storage outside in the sun (of corse roofed). The UV of the sun causes the nice warm and natural tint.
(If the racks get storaged only in close rooms, the wood color is very bright.)
