VINTAGE VOGUE GINNY SLPL 1952 "SPORT SERIES" ROLLER SKATER ~ HARD TO FIND DOLL!

Description

Very pleased to offer this vintage Vogue Ginny 1952 PLSL Roller Skater from the "Sport Series".  This beauty has a full blonde pigtail wig with red satin ties at the end, very nice face coloring with very light brows and lashes and root beer colored eyes that are stuck, as they sometimes do.   She is wearing her original red quilted calico roller skaters outfit trimmed in gold piping with red, gold & green flowers and gold beads adorning the front.  Hook 'n eye closure in the back is intact.  She has matching red panties, yellow rayon socks, red center snap leatherette roller skates and matching floral decorated headband with gold elastic.  Her outfit is crisp and clean with no rips, tears or damage of any kind.  The doll's stringing is tight.  There is a small spot of excess glue on the back of her head at the wig line that I need to mention (as seen in photo #4).  This certainly in no way detracts from the sweetness of this hard to find doll.  She comes complete with her own doll stand and has been part of my collection of Ginnys for over 45 years.  She has been stored away for many years and comes from a smoke-free environment.  She's a real cutie!
